IRI CellShield Enterprise Edition (EE) is a unique and groundbreaking software from Innovative Routines International (IRI), designed for companies, non-profit organizations and government agencies that store sensitive data in multiple Excel® spreadsheets. CellShield EE helps you AUTOMATICALLY classify, search, select, secure and audit your changes to the sensitive data in every spreadsheet on your network.

Why is this necessary? When laptops fall into unauthorized hands or computer networks are breached, personal data (PII) stored in Excel files is at risk of misuse and violation of a data protection law. IRI CellShield EE prevents and eliminates these breaches by quickly finding and protecting this data in every connected spreadsheet.

IRI CellShield EE is the only full-featured, professional data discovery, masking and auditing package for Excel 2010, 2013, 2016 and 2019 (plus Office 365) workbooks on your LAN. CellShield EE surpasses the security and scope of a single password by combining and automating all these additional functions:

Search the entire network for sensitive data based on specific (as well as popular and stored) patterns.

You can also search for PII floating within cell contents from the Excel pagesearch and mask.

Identify and open all discovered patterns from and within the Excel worksheet, with room for comments and auditing.

From this report and its "Spreadsheet Selector" dialog box, you carry out and log all your protection measures.

Perform a manual or bulk encryption (and decryption), masking (full or partial cell, irreversible) or pseudonymization (reversible and irreversible) of the applicable ranges within the spreadsheets specified in the report.

Switch between individual workbooks and ranges, or select the desired rows and protect them all the same way with one click. Redact in situ (where you overwrite the original cell value), or route the protected result cells to another sheet.

Automatically create a secure log entry for the protection applied to each pattern identified in the report.

Automatically create an auditable log entry for the protection applied to each pattern identified in the report. You can also IRI DarkShield at a similar price to find, mask and audit, together with many other unstructured data sources, in Excel spreadsheets. However, DarkShield does not work on the Excel side for this kind of ergonomics.

Note that the reversible functions supported in CellShield are the same as those in IRI FieldShield are compatible (for static or dynamic protection of PII across multiple database and file sources). This means that what you conceal in one tool can be collaboratively revealed with the other tool on a different system.

Prices range between €4,500 and €45,000 for perpetual use, depending on the volume of networked sheets to be scanned and protected. CellShield EE is offered to supported users of other software products from IRI Data Privacy Suite at a discount and is FREE in the IRI Voracity Data management platform included.
