„Broward Community College is a member of the Florida Community College Software Consortium; we jointly developed an ERP system that is supported on both the VSE and MVS platforms. In order to expand the consortium's platform implementation capabilities to include Linux, solutions were needed for utilities such as sort. CoSort was a perfect fit; the product was able to interpret both VSE and MVS JCL without modification. With the CoSort product, we found a low-cost, high-performance solution that meets our requirements as a replacement for our VSE Sort product. While migrating from VSE to Linux presented many challenges, the CoSort solution prevented the sort utility from being one of those challenges.
