Tracking and Transformation of Large Travel Data

Many of IRI's „Big Data“ clients are in the transit industry, and with IRI's solutions, they manage their Big Data. You must track, monitor, and transform data about the movements of people, goods, and their vehicles. You can IRI Voracity platform or use their component products:

  1. Pre-sorting large transaction (fact) table and file data to accelerate bulk loads into ROLAP DBs and queries in ROLAP DBs
  2. Filter, sort, join, and aggregate historical/current passenger and routing data by hypothesis criteria
  3. Discover, Classify, De-identify (Masking), Risk Score, and Audit data that is at risk to comply with data privacy laws
  4. Migration or replication of legacy data types, file formats, and databases to next-generation destinations
  5. Data Cleansing and Standardization for Data Quality and MDM Initiatives
  6. Report or data query for external BI and analytics tools
  7. Replace legacy sorting or ETL tools

Such core data transformations support revenue optimization (e.g., ticket prices) for applications, scheduling research tools, connection, routing, and seating decisions, as well as advertising analytics/campaigns and data privacy compliance. CoSort and its Sort Control Language (SortCLData definition and language programs are therefore used across industries:
