Challenges

Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) is a powerful tool for data preparation and integration, but it also has some shortcomings. Pentaho is undoubtedly a powerful tool for data preparation and data integration. However, like any system, there are challenges. These must be overcome.

Pentaho Challenges

What challenges are being referred to here? Particularly noticeable are slow transformation processes. With large amounts of data, Pentaho's native sorting function can reach its limits and significantly impair efficiency. Protecting data with Pentaho

Equally problematic is the limited ability to protect sensitive data with Pentaho. Data flowing through PDI cannot be easily masked or encrypted with Pentaho. This naturally poses a significant security risk. Sensitive information such as personal data or financial details are thus vulnerable to unauthorized access.
