Custom masking functions

In addition to the many commercially available data masking routines, it offers you IRI FieldShield the ability to provide and utilize your own custom field layer that FieldShield can pick up and use directly and solely at runtime, with existing functions integrated in the same way. This allows you to protect field values in ways not natively supported by FieldShield.

You can develop individual protection mechanisms that are precisely tailored to your requirements. The custom functions are integrated directly into FieldShield. Everything runs without external tools. Your custom masking functions can be seamlessly integrated into the existing environment. Use them in parallel with the existing methods to protect sensitive data exactly according to your requirements. This way, you maintain full control over the security of your data. Even in scenarios that FieldShield does not cover by default. With these functions, you protect sensitive data at the field level. Masking occurs at runtime.
