CoSort GUI
Job Design, Modification, and Execution
Job assistants, form dialogs, and syntax-driven script editing
The IRI Workbench utilizes several different ways of job presentation within Eclipse to facilitate the design and modification of IRI CoSort SortCL jobs.
The GUI interacts dynamically and interchangeably with the scripts, allowing you to define any desired workflow at any time.
New job assistants can guide you from the source and metadata specification, through the action phase of a job, to the specification of one or more targets and formats. Assistants and form dialogs help with filling out and modifying SortCL job scripts. The GUI's syntax-aware script editor also supports the creation and modification of valid jobs.
The upper window in the following figure shows the editor view of a join job script. Invoke the join wizard (shown in the lower left) from the main menu or from the script editor. Specify the details of a multi-source join. Data sources (shown in the upper tabs) and targets (shown in the lower tabs) are displayed in the output field editor. Define data mapping and precise target layout definitions easily and quickly.
Once your order is complete, the script can be within or outside run in the GUI. Details here:
