Challenges
You need to test with realistic data or help others test with it. However, the actual production data elements are sensitive, subject to privacy laws, or otherwise classified. The data might not even exist yet.
You are concerned about public trust in your company's privacy policies and need to comply with existing and future data privacy laws, especially when relying on external solution providers. Those to whom you have outsourced development may need to perform regulatory compliance tests for your application or their systems, and for that, they need the right test data!
In addition to sensitive medical data, information sent to foreign workers can include bank account numbers, social security numbers, stock holdings, and credit card numbers – all valuable information for identity thieves.
Solutions are needed to obfuscate (mask) this data—or simulate it with realistic synthetic test data—so that the exposure of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is impossible.

IRI DarkShield can collaborate with RowGen to replace values in semi-structured and unstructured files, databases, documents, and images, ensuring conformity with test data.
